Bernard (Bud) Griffin, 61, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, Ky. He was born in Eubank, Ky. on Feb. 17, 1947. He was the son of Mitchell and Retna Todd Griffin.

He is survived by his wife Jessie Carol Griffin; two daughters, Tonya Jones of Junction City and Peggy Smith of Corbin, Ky.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven brothers; one sister; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be at Moreland Christian Church on Highway 2141 in Moreland on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 23 from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Josh Jones, Charles Garland, Gary Griffin, Mitch Griffin, Darren Griffin, and Mark Davis.
