Ruby Mae Dye, 90, Gravel Switch, died Dec. 16, 2007, at the Life Care Center in Bardstown.
Born May I, 1917, in Marion County, Dye was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, John Irvin Dye; parents, George and Rose Brown Clarkson; two brothers, L.T. and William Howard Clarkson; two sisters, Catherine Green and Pearl Wright.
Survivors include: two sons, Josh Dye of Louisville and George William Dye of Gravel Switch; one daughter, Estelle Hubbard of Lebanon; one brother, John Henry Clarkson of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 19 at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Elder Cemetery, Gravel Switch. Rev. Jerry Lanham officiated.
Active pallbearers were Homer Rakes, Brandon Lee, Larry Wright, Robbie Hutton and Billy and Jeffery Dye.
