Golden Snyder MT. PLEASANT - Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of December 26, 2009, Golden Fenters Edgeworth Snyder, first married to the late Stanley Edgeworth and widow of John "Jack" C. Snyder. Residence, Mt. Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Monday, December 28, 2009, at two-thirty o'clock in J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the chapel on Monday beginning at twelve-thirty o'clock until the time of service. Golden was born on January 8, 1918 in Georgetown, SC, the daughter of Gilbert Fenters and Bonnie Moore Fenters. Mrs. Snyder retired from Belk Department Stores as a bookkeeper for over 30 years. She was a member of Citadel Square Baptist Church for 60 years. She was also a member of the Pilot Club and did volunteer work at Roper Hospital. She is survived by her daughter: Sandra Hanna of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Mary Calcutt of Walterboro, SC and Lillian Joye of Hemingway, SC; one grandson, Mark Sprague of Charleston, SC; three great grandchildren, Ashley Sprague, Glenn Sprague and Mark D. Sprague; one step great grandchild, Brianna Appel. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dennison Sprague. Flowers may be accepted or memorials may be made to Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
