Gary Warner Baughn, 64, passed away of lung cancer on June 3, 2011, in Prescott, Ariz., after a brief hospitalization. He was born on Sept. 10, 1946, in Port Hueneme, Calif.
After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy. He then obtained his bachelor's degree and MBA from California State Polytechnic University Pomona.
Gary retired from 3M Corp. in 2008 as regional sales manager of the Touch Screen Systems division. After retiring, he moved to Prescott where he enjoyed golfing and working on his 1968 Camaro. He also enjoyed getting together with friends for dinners and cookouts.
Gary will be remembered for giving generously of his time and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Carrie (Ryan) Braun of San Diego and Michelle Baughn of Los Gatos, Calif.; granddaughter Taylor Braun; and many loving friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest "Jim" and Regina Baughn.
Gary will be interred at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego this summer alongside his parents.
