Daniel was the son of Daniel and Elizabeth Bueghly.
He married Ada Belle Weatherly on October 6, 1878. They had 7 children: Oren E, infant, Emma Viola, Harrison Burdette, infant, Grace A, and Fredrick Earl.
After Ada passed away, Daniel married Almeda Fiscus on March 23, 1902.
Daniel was the brother to Ephraim D Bueghly, who married Sarah Celarah 'Sade' Weatherly, Ada Belle Weatherly's sister.
