Henry M Best, dies at his home here.
Lexington man had been ill about three months. Henry M Best, 73, died at 10:40 o'clock yesterday morning at his home at 329 North 17th Street, after an illness of three months.
Mr. Best born Oct 29, 1871, in Blount County, Tennessee, the son of Isaac Best and Margaret Baker Best, both of that state. He was married to Cecillia Ann Best, March 18, 1908, at Kingfisher, Ok. He had come to the county in 1877, he was a member of Methodist Church.
Surviving are is his wife, of the home, two sons, Leonard Best, of the home and Kenneth Alfred Best, Seaman Second Class, US. Coast Guard stationed at Boston; three daughter, Mrs. Cil Foulds, Kansas City, Mrs. Melvin Tagtmeyer, and Miss Luicille Best both of the home, two brothers J.S. Best, Lexington, and John R. Best, Concordia and a sister Mrs. W.L. Christy, Odessa.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Temple Chapel here, conducted by the Rev. J.F. Winton, Pastor of the Methdist Church.
