EIGHTY-FOUR YEARS OLD
Death Occurred at Eleven O'Clock Last Night - Had Lived Her Fifteen Years

Grandmother Emerine, aged eighty-four years died at 11 o'clock Friday night at her home on South Thirteenth street after an illness of several months' duration, death resulting from old age and other complications. She was born in Ohio, in 1822, she she made her home until fifteen years ago when she moved to this city and took up her abode in the west part of the city, where her demise occurred. She was a member of the United Brethren church and was always putting forth her best efforts in behalf of the church. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the United Brethren church and interment was made in the Decatur cemetery. She leaves three sons and three daughters to mourn their loss.
