Virginia B. (Harvey) Esterline, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2008, in Colonial Park Care Center.

Born on December 20, 1924, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry Price and Viola May (Palmer) Harvey.

She was also predeceased by her sister, Catherine Sheetz, two brothers, Ralph Harvey and Charles Harvey, and a grandson, Philip Charles.

Virginia formerly worked as a sales clerk at the Five and Dime Stores.

She was a generous volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, camping, and socializing with her family and friends.

Virginia was loved and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sharon L. Barbi of Harrisburg; her son, Kenneth E. Sr. and his wife Deanna L. (Dee) Romberger Esterline of Middletown; her brother, George H. (Smokey) Harvey, Sr., of Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, in the Neumyer Funeral Home, Inc., 1334 North Second Street, Harrisburg with Rev. W. Richard Feeser officiating.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m., until the time of service.

The burial will be in Paxtang Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Suite #104, 2080 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
