Neiman- Clarence Michael Neiman of Star Route, Box 236, Oakridge, died August 19, 1970. Born June 29, 1895, in Windsor, Missouri, and had been a resident of this area since 1946. He was a member of Oakridge Lodge No. 205, AF&AM, Oakridge Chapter No. 166, OES, the Eugene Scottish Rites Bodies, the IOOF Lodge, Longmont, Colorado, Husband of Amy; father of Dorthy Knoll, Coquille, Ladell Dieterle, Eugene; brother of John Neiman, Springfield, Nellie Bader, Longmont; 7 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, at 10:30 a.m. Lounsbury-Musgrove Funeral Chapel. Reverend Ken Arnold officiating, Masonic Rites under the auspices of Oakridge Lodge No. 205. AF&AM. Concluding services Rest Haven Mausoleum. ----

Anniversary celebrated
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence M. Neiman of Oakridge marked their golden wedding anniversary at a dinner arranged by their two daughters and members of their families, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Ladell) Dieterle of Eugene and Mr. and Mrs. (Dorothy) Knoll of Coquille.
The party was held at the Dieterle home with about 35 guests in attendance. Their are seven grandchildren.
Among the guests were Mrs. Neiman's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Hewitt of Sandy and Neiman's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Neiman of Springfield.
The Neimans were married Dec. 8 , 1919, in Wessington Springs, S.D. in the home of the Methodist minister. They lived in Longmont, Colo., until moving to Springfield in 1946. They moved to their present home in 1949. Neiman operated a service station and worked as a carpenter before his retirement.

Military record indicates Clarence served in the Army. His serial number was 514,735 and he inducted at Boulder Colorado on 3 June 1918 serving in the TRP L 315 Cav until 2 August 1918 when he was transferred to Btry E 72 FA until he was discharged. He reached the rank of PVT10/19 and was honorably discharged with no disabilities reported.
