Charles Jacques

COTTAGE GROVE — The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Cottage Grove for Charles James Jacques of Cottage Grove, who died Dec. 8 of age-related causes. He was 81.

He was born March 27, 1926, in London­derry, N.H., to Henry and Beatrice Cloutier Jacques.

He married Carrie McCoy on March 25, 1967, in Reno, Nev. She died April 5, 1999.

Jacques served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic and owned a truck repair business.

Survivors include six daughters, Rogene Aulner of Hastings, Neb., Barbi Voss of Lowell, Jett Reyes of Eugene, Sammi Beebe of Battle Mountain, Nev., Becky Crockett of Kanah, Utah, and Cheryl Jacques of Modesto, Calif.; a son, Mark of Elko, Nev.; 24 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. A son, Alan McCoy, died May 24, 1998.

Burial will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by Rest-Haven Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.

Remembrances to the American Cancer Society.
