Helen L. Tyler, 93, of Waldron, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Waldron Healthcare in Waldron.
Born August 28, 1909, in Rush County, she was the daughter of Clarence and Bessie E. (Walker) Borem, both deceased. On July 23, 1931, she married Paul Tyler, he preceded her in death on November 18, 1977.
Mrs. Tyler lived most of her life in Rush County. She was a 1927 graduate of Milroy High School, and she attended Ball State University.
Survivors include one son, John Tyler of Rushville; three sisters, Katherine Yager of Sevierville, Tenn, Frances Borem of Shelbyville and Maude (Mrs. Roy) Tincher of Leicester, N.C.; two brothers, Richard Borem of Largo, Fla., and James Hoard of Orland, Fla; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville, with the Rev. Michael Dees, officiating. Entombment will follow in East Hill Shrine Mausoleum in Rushville. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rush County Senior Citizens Center.
