Omie was the dear daughter of Hansel Girdle Richardson and Mary Esther Dingee. She was born and raised in Spring Hollow township surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Dear sister to Clarence, Charlie, Vincie, Pearl, Adie, Lloyd, Rosie, Ina and Fay. Dear daughter, niece, aunt, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend.
She married John Edward Mahoney, Jr. on March 13, 1943 in Lebanon, Missouri. John then served his country in World War II and upon his return they moved to Kansas City, Kansas. They were blessed with five children: Janice Lee, John Edward "Jay" III, James Donald, Jean Ann, and Jeffrey David.
May she rest in peace.
