Kenneth C. Britsch, 83, of 450 E. Liberty St., died at 10:35 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 1989, in the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, W. Va.

Born Jan. 22, 1906, in Butler, he was the son of the late George W. and Katherine Klippert Britsch.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church and its Men's Bible Class.

He retired as a chief warrant officer with the U. S. Army with more than 20 years of service. Afterward, he worked at Letterkenny Army Depot, retiring in 1971.

He served in the World War II and Korean Conflict.
Mr. Britsch was a life member of Charles M. Nitterhouse Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1599, Burt J. Asper American Legion Post 46 and BPOElks Lodge 600; and a social member of Landis-McCleaf Detachment of the Marine Corps League.

Surviving are his wife, Louise N. Armstrong Britsch; a niece and two nephews. He was the last of his immediate family.

Burial will be Tuesday in Lincoln Cemetery.
