Emma E. Harris Booth, 85, of 629 Sara Drive, died yesterday at 6 a.m. at St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born in Foster Township in Marion County, daughter of Edgar and Minne (Lampert) Somerville. In 1916 she married Robert Harris and he died in 1928. She married William E. Booth in 1930 and he died in 1965.
Survivors include a son, Edgar Harris of Centralia; a daughter, Marybelle Shipp of Centralia; three sisters, Pearl Caldwell of Odin, Kathryn Tucker of California and Lida Markel of California; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Booth lived in this area all her life and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School class of the church.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at new Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Charles T. Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin.
Friends may call at Irvin Funeral Home form 6 to 9 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. tomorrow, then at the church from noon until the services.
