He was a veteran of World War I, serving for two years with the 4th Division, 77th Field Artillery, in France. He was formerly employed by the Mullaney Electric Co., Lockport. Later, he went into business with the Harris & Bennett Co., and for the last 15 years was a partner in the Price & Bennett firm. He was a past commander of the B. Leo Dolan Post No. 410, American Legion, a member of the Lockport Conservation Club and of the International Brotherhood of Electricians.
