Donna Hansen of Woodland, Washington passed away May 28, 2010. She was born in Conway, Iowa to parents Rollie Kilgore Phillips and Goldia Zula Nixon Phillips. Growing up, Donna attended many schools because her father traveled a lot working construction on dams in California, Washington and Oregon. She graduated from Umatilla, Oregon High School in 1953.
Donna married Walter E. Hansen SR. on August 1, 1953.
She is survived by her husband; and six children. Sons include Monty Hansen of Vancouver, WA, Martin Hansen of Edgewood, WA, Bradley Hansen of Vancouver, WA and Walter Hansen JR. of Woodland, WA. Daughters include Gena Hansen Bailey of Vancouver, WA, and Lori Hansen Sargent of Woodland, WA. Donna also has two stepchildren, Larry Hansen of Kuna, ID and Lindsey Curnow of Redmond, WA. She is a grandmother of 19 grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as sisters Katherine and Lorene, and brothers Rolland, Robert and George. Surviving siblings include sister Faye Phillips Hagemen of The Dalles, OR and brother Raymond Phillips of Pasco, WA.
