Elizabeth Libby Ashley

Elizabeth Libby Ashley, 71, died February 14, 2007, at her residence. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Stringer Family Chapel in Hazlehurst. Services are 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Ashley Cemetery.

Mrs. Ashley was a native of Hinds County. She had lived in Copiah County since 1968. Mrs. Ashley was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Robert A. Bob Ashley.

She is survived by son, Robert Doyle Bobby Ashley of Hazlehurst; daughters, Lynn Ashley Starnes, Virginia Ashley Jena Sherman and Kay Ashley Middleton, all of Hazlehurst; brothers, Wade Morrison of Jackson, Robert Neal Morrison of Learned, and Jimmy D. Morrison of Wesson; sister, Myrna French of Natchez; and grandchildren, Stephanie Leigh Ashley, Jodie and Jason Cheroni, Jerimi and Jonathan Sherman, and Bradley Athens Ashley; and four great-grandchildren.
