FRANCES J. RAMSEY
Frances J. Ramsey, 72, passed away Friday, November 27, 1998 at St. Joseph Health Center. Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 2, 1998 at Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Frances was born February 20, 1926 in Webster Groves, Missouri, the daughter of Lyman Tracy and Ruth (Hoffman) Tracy. She graduated from Southwest Missouri State with a degree in elementary education and taught elementary school for many years. Frances married Owen Ramsey on August 23, 1953. She was an active member of Red Bridge United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Hillcrest Country Club and Alpha Chi Omega. Frances is survived by her husband of 45 years, Owen Ramsey; three daughters, Tracy Ramsey of Prairie Village, Kansas, Barbara Miller and her husband, David of Joplin, Missouri, and Ruth Johnson and her husband, Michael of Raytown, Missouri; three grandchildren, Caitlin Miller, Cameron Johnson and Brett Johnson; brother, William Tracy of Miami, Florida; and four nieces. Mrs. Ramsey loved her family and friends, gardening and baseball. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be missed, cherished and remembered. (Arrangements: D.W.
