Funeral services for Mark Wayne Brannam, 41, of Fletcher, Oklahoma, were held Tuesday, November 14 at First Baptist Church in Fletcher. Henry Reid, pastor of Lawton Seventh Day Adventist Church, and Reverend Bobby Gilstrap, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiated. Burial arrangements had not yet been announced. Mr. Brannam died Friday, November 10, 2000, in a Chickasha, Oklahoma hospital after a brief illness. He worked for Freedom Cars in Lawton, Oklahoma for seven years and had been sales manager for Larry Hamstead Ford in Rush Springs, Oklahoma for the past year and a half. He was born September 8, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia, and lived in Silver Springs, Maryland from 1963-74. He moved to Keene in 1974 and lived there until joining the Army in 1977. He served eight years at Fort Sill until 1985. He married Mary Overton on May 3, 1997, in Lawton, and lived in Lawton until moving to Fletcher in 1995. He was a member of the American Samuri Association and the Oklahoma Samuri Association. He was an avid football and golf fan. He was loved by all and will be missed. Mr. Brannam is survived by his wife, Mary, of Fletcher, Oklahoma; four sons, Nathan of Fort Worth, Kyle and his wife, Terri, of Lawton, Oklahoma, Garry Milchesky and his wife, April, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Bobby Milchesky and his wife, Kelli, of Saratoga Springs, New Yori; two daughters, Rosa Quiroz and Chesney Overton of Fletcher; his parents, Ellis, Jr. and Mary Brannam of Keene; one brother, Ellis Brannam III and his wife, Linda, of Fort Worth; one sister, Robin Broussard and her husband, Wayne, of Prairieville, Louisiana; four grandsons, Jordan Pryor of Norman, Oklahoma, Kevin Brannam of Lawton, Garry Milchesky III and Corbin Milchesky of Tulsa; one granddaughter, Hailey Milchesky of Saratoga Springs, New York; two nieces, Danielle Brannam of Fort Worth and Katrina Broussard of Prairieville, Louisiana. Robbins Funeral Home of Fletcher, Oklahoma handled the arrangements.
