ADA - Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Lantz Funeral Home, the Rev. Fara Laman officiating, for Oscar Boutwell, 72, retired butcher, who died at 10:30 p.m. yesterday at the home of his son, Howard Boutwell, 220 E. Buckeye St. He suffered a heart attack. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery here.
Mr. Boutwell was born May 18, 1881, in Hancock County. He married Bertha White who died March 7, 1933.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Rachel Zurcher, Bradenton, Fla.; Mrs. Mary Clum, Erieau, Ont., Canada; Mrs. Frances Newland, Homer, Mich.; three sons, Jack, Howard and Grover Boutwell, all of Ada; 15 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Allen Boutwell, Shelby.
The body will remain at the Lantz Funeral Home where friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
