Graveside services for June Connett, 64, of McMinnville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Carlton-Yamhill Cemetery. Mrs. Connett died Sept. 14, 1964, in a McMinnville hospital.
Born Sept. 21, 1899, in Fullerton, Neb., she was the daughter of Amos and Emma Jackson Gallagher. In 1914 she married William Barnett, who predeceased her. Oct. 31, 1936, in Vancouver, Wash., she married Melvin Connett. They had made their home in Yamhill until three and a half years ago when they moved to McMinnville. Mrs. Connett had been a member of the Evangelical Church.
She is survived by her widower; two sons, Darrell Barnett, Portland, and Carrell Barnett, Moscow, Idaho; six brothers, Carl Gallagher, Marysville, Calif., Ivan Gallagher, Eureka, Calif., Harlow Gallagher, Santa Maria, Calif., Leonard Gallagher, San Diego, Calif., Lester Gallagher, New York City, and Kenneth Gallagher, Hood River; five sisters, Mrs. Maude Miller, Santa Maria, Calif., Mrs. Pearl Eaddell, Hood River, Mrs. Hazel Pfeiffer, Winslow, Wash., Mrs. Ona Hawthorne, Hoardsville, Neb., and Mrs. Ila Nelson, Eureka, Calif.
Arrangements are in care of Macy and Son.
