Pearl S. Wallace, age 89, died on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Oak Park Place Assisted Living in Baraboo.

Pearl was born in Morrisonville, WI., on November 12, 1921, to Adolph and Petra (Lee) Erickson.

She graduated from De Forest High School.

Pearl married Edward A. Wallace in 1943, in Delray Beach, FL., where he was stationed with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

After the war, they made their home in Madison, where she was a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and the Madison's Women's Golf League.

Pearl also enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edward; daughter, Patricia (Dr. Monte) McFadden of Baraboo; her son, William (Joyce) of Madison;

Pearl is further survived by her granddaughter, Kara (David) Klubertanz; two great-grandsons, Jakob and Kaden Klubertanz of Cross Plains; her sister, Helen Struckmeyer of Madison; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Petra Erickson; her sister, Mable Sauk; her brother, Ardell Erickson; and her son, Gerald E. Wallace.

Funeral Services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, which is located at 2670 Milwaukee Street, in Madison, at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 17, 2010, with Rev. Mark Bartels presiding.

Burial will be held at the Norway Grove Cemetery in De Forest.

A Visitation will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.

Memorials in Pearl's name may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2670 Milwaukee Street, Madison, 53704, Oak Park Place Assisted Living, 800 Waldo Street, Baraboo, 53913 or to Home Health United Hospice 1111 8th St. Baraboo, 53913.

The Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Madison assisted the family with their arrangements.
