Services for Rev. Thomas J. Allen, of 1927 Surrey St., will be held 10:00 am on Friday at First John Baptist Church, interment to follow in Memorial Gardens of Columbia. The family will receive friends 6-7 pm Thursday at Palmer Memorial Chapel.
Rev. Allen died Saturday, July 7, 2012. Born in Aiken, he was the son of the late Willie and Bessie Wright Allen.
Surviving are his wife, Mae Frances Allen; children, Abiedale Thomas, Reverend Thomesena Rice, Jean Dukes, Walter Allen; stepsons, Reginald and Renard Fenwick; siblings, Herman Allen, Linda B. Johnson and Frankie Mae Allen; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends.
