James C. Mosley died in Edison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Parents: Charles H. and Maude Price Mosley.
Wife: Wanda Domin, married for 68 years.
He served in the US Army as a sergeant with Company E 127th infantry regiment during World War II. He entered Dec. 21, 1944, and served until Nov. 1, 1946. He served in Luzon and received a Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, Army Occupation Medal for Japan, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one bronze star and World War II Victory Ribbon. He worked for the P&LE Railroad as a hostler for 43 years. He played baseball for the Lawrence Indies for 16 years. Mr. Mosley enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, and liked to watch the Pirates, Cleveland Indians and Steelers play.
Realtives: a daughter and son-in-law, Janet I. and George Vukovich; a son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Patricia Mosley; a sister, Viola Forsythe (d:Sept 2007); seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
