A. BOETTCHER DIES
Local resident Passes Away in Hospital After Several Months of Illness:
August Boettcher, 66, brick mason of this city, died at the Oregon City Hospital Monday evening after a several months illness.
Mr. Boettcher was born in Germany and had made his home in the United States for the past 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Kate Boettcher and 12 children, all of whom are grown. Mr. Boettcher had charge of the brick yard on the Presbyterian Church.

August Boettcher, 66, passed away at the family home at 218 Center Street Tuesday evening after a brief illness. He was born September 23, 1859 and has been a resident of this city the past seven years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kate Boettcher of this city and twelve sons and daughters. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the family residence at 1 o'clock, and at the German Lutheran Church on Jefferson Street, at 1:30 with Rev. Walter Kraxberger, paster, officiating. Internment was in the Mountain View Cemetery.
