JACKSON - Services will be held at noon Wednesday at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mount Olive for Steven Hercial Butler, 100, of Jackson, who died Jan. 22, 2006, in Jackson.

Burial will be in Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mize.

Mr. Butler was a mechanic and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Maddox Butler; and two daughters, Helen Prince and Mary Virginia Butler.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy B. Stanford of Carrollton; a brother, Monroe "Monk" Butler of Richland; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be until service time today at the church.

Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
