Services for Jack Brixey, 74, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 14, 1999, at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Hawkins of Lubbock officiating.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
He died Mar. 12, 1999, at his Lubbock residence. He was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Burkburnett. He married Doral Fowler on Mar. 21, 1944, in Crosbyton. She died Feb. 10, 1999.
He was a member of Crosbyton First Baptist Church. He was a farmer. He served in the Navy during WWII. He moved to Crosbyton in 1942. He was retired from the Crosby County Fuel Assn. as a parts man, and he was formerly co-owner of Doralīs House of Flowers in Crosbyton.
Survivors include: one son, Kenneth Ray Brixey of Coleman; one daughter, Judy McCurdy of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
