John K. "Big John" Eason, Sr., 64, of Silsbee, passed away Sunday at his residence.
A lifelong resident of Hardin County, he was a retired supervisor for Texas Fireworks.
Big John was preceded in death by his mother and father Columbus Jackson and Pearl Eason; son, Jerry Eason; brother, Bitty Man Eason and sister, Evelyn Eason.
Survivors include his children, Carl Eason and wife Erin, Billy Eason and wife Maudine, Donna Gardner and husband Gary, Patricia Jacobs and husband Joey and Little John Eason; 13 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Oma Lee Walker, Hazel Gardner, Mary Pearl Ellison, Faye Landry, Peaches Jenkins, Linda Lee, Janie Jackson, Thomas Eason and Jimmy Eason.
