Alfred Clayton Nelson, Jr., 71, of Hawkinsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 21 in Taylor Memorial Hospital. Mr. Nelson was a native of Pulaski County, a member of the Baptist faith and a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lois Lovett Nelson, Route Three, Hawkinsville; two stepsons, Lamar Richardson and Clinton Richardson, both of Hawkinsville; three brothers, J. D. Nelson, Hawkinsville, H. Grady Nelson, Reidsville, and Russell Nelson, Centerville; a sister, Mrs. Jewel Alford, Trenton Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.
