Jack G. Galli

Jack Galli passed away Sunday morning at Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility, age 76. He was a native of Hollister, having lived here all of his life. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and former member of the Hollister Elk's Lodge and the Boosters Club.
Jack had served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Toledo for 6 years. He was formerly a supervisor for the Hollister Canning Co. and the Gentry garlic plant in Gilroy. He was co-owner with his wife, Barbara, of the Villa Pace Restaurant from 1973 to 1983. For many years he enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.
Jack is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Hollister and his children, Bill McCardle of Lake Bay, WA, Jacklyn Thomas, husband, Alan, of Hollister, Felicia Andrade, husband, Adrian, of Hollister and Guido Galli, wife, Teresa, of San Rafael, grandfather of Blaine Thomas, Alicyn Cawley, Jade Jacobo, Kyle Thomas, Travis and Grant Galli, great-grandfather of Taylor and Beau Krais and Isabella and Macyn Cawley. He was the brother of Elma Judy Barber and the late Betty Maloney, Dan, William and Richard Galli. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the funeral home on Thursday morning then proceeded to Sacred Heart Church for a funeral Mass. Entombment followed at the mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. Services provided by: Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory.
