Eric was the loving son of Edward William Gotham Jr. & Juliette Dorothy Van Dinter Gotham. He lost his battle with cancer on Nov. 20, 2009, at his home in Litchfield,New Hampshire.
Besides his parents he left behind his wife Sharon Burke Gotham & 2 children Crystal Marie & Derek Westley Gotham. Also 3 brothers Jeffrey Douglas Gotham, Wade Errol Gotham & Matthew David Gotham. He was laid to rest near his grandparents Edward William Gotham Sr. & Maude Louise Crowell Gotham.

Mr. Eric W. Gotham, of Litchfield, N.H. died November 20, 2009 after a long battle with Monophasic Fibrous Synovial Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer with his loving family by his side, at age 41. Beloved husband of Sharon L. (Burke) Gotham. A United States Army Veteran. Born in Lowell, December 16, 1967, a son of Edward W. Gotham, Jr of Hudson, NH. He recieved his early education in the Hudson, NH school system and was a graduate of Alvirne High School Class of 1986. Eric enlisted in the US Army on July 22, 1986 and served with the 598th Transportation Company, stationed in Bamburg, Germany. He was the recipient of the Army Service Ribbon, Driver and Mechanic Badge Driver with Bar, Marksmanship Badge Rifle, M-16/Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge Grenade. Honorably discharged on Oct. 27, 1987. Eric met Sharon in Lowell in 1988 and they were married on April 27th, 1991. He along with his wife were the proprietors of Gotham’s Variety Store in Litchfield, NH. Eric loved his family, he was a devoted husband and was extremely proud of his two children. Besides his loving wife and father his is survived by a daughter, Crystal M. Gotham, a student at UNH of CT. and a son Derek W. Gotham, a student at UNOH in Ohio. Three brothers, Jeffrey D. Gotham and his wife Diana of Revere, Wade E. Gotham and his wife Wendy of Fitchburg and Matthew D. Gotham of Hudson, NH. Two sisters, Jessica D. Rosa and her husband Kevin of CT and Jacqueline D. Wood and her husband Timothy of CA. also several nieces and nephews and many friends.
