Anna Margaretha ("Maggie") Bauer was born aboard ship "Michigan" on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, 4 days before arrival in U.S., Port of New Orleans. Family emigrated from Village of Mußbach, Canton of Neustadt, County of Frankenthal, Kingdom of Bavaria.
Maggie lived her whole life in Mastoutah, Illinois, and never married or had children. Died in St. Vincent's Hospital of "paralysis."
