He married, first, about 1844 at Ashtabula,OH, Julia Ann Woodbury. She was a daughter of William Woodbury and Esther (Beckwith) Woodbury. One child by this marriage. She died at Ashtabula in December 1853.
He married, second, about 1854, Rebecca Ann (Loyer) Throne, and there were seven children of this marriage.
