Funeral Services Held Saturday For John Banks - A Solemn Requiem High Mass Was Celebrated at St James church Saturday, August 22, 1931, for the repose of the soul of John Banks who died Wednesday, August 19, 1931.

Rev Father J F McMahon was celebrant, Father Hatch of Olmstedville was deacon, Rev Father J S Kelly of Glens Falls was sub deacon, and Rev. Rather Michael Lyons of Utica was master of ceremonies.

The Mass was sung by Mrs William Burto, Miss Frances McMahon, Harold Yandon and John Sullivan. Miss McMahon presided at the organ.

The honorary bearers were: Fred Baroudi, John McArdle, Harry Waldron,, John Donohue, Howard Sawyer, and Theron Hall.

The pallbearers were: Leo O'Keeffe, Dana Martin, Enos Putnam, Lawrence Owens, and Butler Cunningham of North Creek, and Steve Wilson of Indian Lake.

John Banks is survived by his parents, Mr and Mrs James Banks of North Creek.

Burial was in St James Cemetery at North Creek.
