Kermit Wilson

WALDPORT - The funeral will be held April 3 for Kermit A. Wilson of Waldport, who died March 26 of heart failure. The former Eugene resident was 70.

Wilson was born April 23, 1926, in Oilton, Okla., to Alfred and Lottie Wilson. He married Martha Okeson. She died Sept. 16, 1995.

He attended school in Eugene and served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as a salesman and driver for a linen supply company and enjoyed crabbing, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 2105 and Moose Lodge.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Mahoney of Concord, Calif.; and two grandchildren. His first wife, Joy, died previously.

Thursday's service will be at 1 p.m. at Rest-Haven Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Eugene. Burial will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Relief Nursery.
