Alice Mylissa Seavey of 2089 Potter Street, Eugene, passed away January 27, 1966 at a local hospital. She was born May 22, 1883 in South Dakota [MN]. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Seavey, June 15, 1961.
She had been a resident of this community and of the estate since 1901. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Eugene; the Springfield American Legion Auxiliary; Evangeline Chapter O.E.S.; the Pioneer Club; the Eugene Hearing Society. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Alvan (Holly) Parker, Mrs. W. P. (Betty) Hambelton, and Mrs. Kenneth (Hazel) Kienzle, all of Eugene; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; two brothers; Fran Stewart of Richmond, California, and Charles A. Stewart of Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Lil Warner, and Mrs. Jessie Larison, both of Portland; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 29, 1966 at 2 p.m. in Buell Chapel with private entombment to follow in Rest Haven Mausoleum. Those who wish may make donations to the Landscaping Fund at the first Methodist Church in Eugene in her name.
