MOS:0311 Rifleman.

Patrick was born in San Diego,CA.He was the
only child of Bertha and Robert Anglim.
He enlisted in the Marines 25 October 1965,at
the Los Angeles Recruiting Station.
When Patrick arrived in Vietnam 25 September 1967,he was assigned to Echo Company,2nd Battalion,3rd Marine Regiment,3rd Marine Division.
While participating in Operation Auburn,LCpl Anglim died as a result of a gunshot wound to the chest from rifle fire,during an engagement
with enemy forces,at LZ Hawk,Bao An Dong, Go Noi Island,Quang Nam Province.
Patrick was single and served his country for
2 years,2 months and 3 days.KIA#19,462.
He had been in Vietnam for 3 months and 3
days.
Patrick was 19 years,1 month and 7 days old.
Survived by his mother;Mrs Bertha Grace Anglim of 1165 1/2 Walnut Ave,Long Beach,
CA.
Father;Robert H Anglim,address unknown.

NOTE:
Patrick and Robert were buried next to each
other.They were life time schoolmates and
friends.Both were only sons and from Long
Beach,CA.
They both died during combat on the same
date while serving with Echo Company with
the 1st Platoon.
