EARL BARNES DIES
FOLLOWING HEART ATTACK
Earl Barnes, 63 years old, died at his home in Rockville at 11:00 o'clock Tuesday night, after a sudden heart seizure. He was born in Rosedale, the son of Wayne and Eva Case Cox.
He returned to Parke county for residence upon his retirement from employment with the Union Pipe Line Co. of Whiting, three years ago. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Rockville Methodist church and of the American Legion post of Whiting.
Surviving are the wife, Bertha Barnes; two sons, Dr. Lawrence E. Barnes of Ames, Ia., and James D. Barnes of Racine, Wis.; two brothers, Orrin Barnes of Rockville R. R. 4 and Norval Barnes of Rosedale; two sisters, Mrs. Wayne Day of Rockville R. R. 3 and Miss Lorena Barnes of Clayton and four grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Branson funeral home pending arrangements.
