Lawson, Bernice S.-36, of St. Fork, passed away suddenly Saturday morning, May 13, 1984, at the home of her mother in the St. Fork Community. A member of the St. Fork Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her father, Clyde R. Silcox. Survivors include her husband, Roger Lawson of St. Fork; a son, Byran Eugene Lawson of St. Fork; a daughter, Sonya Renee Lawson of St. Fork; mother, Erma Lorene Jeffers Silcox of St. Fork; grandmother Linda Byrd Jeffers of St. Fork; several aunts and uncles; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at St. Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Hubert Wells and Rev. Milford Byrd officiating. The Lawson Sisters sang.
