Mrs. Selma Anderson Clark, 76, of 555 Twentieth died Thursday evening June 23, 1949, in a local hospital following a long illness.
Mrs. Clark was born May 10, 1873 in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1911 she moved from Estherville, Iowa to Carlin Nevada, and settled in Ogden, Utah in 1919.
She was married to George H. Clark in May, 1890, in Estherville, Iowa. He died in Ogden May 10, 1940.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters; Claude F. (Eva Newlun) Clark and Mrs. Harry L. (Hazel B.) Morrison Richmond, Cal.: Wesley (Sarah Burk) Clark El Paso, Texas, and Mrs. Lyle L. (Nellie M.) Newlun, Odgen, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 am at Myers and Foulger mortuary with James H. Martin, former member of Fourth L. D. S. ward bishopric, officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to time of services. Burial will be in the Ogden city cemetery.
