Betty Lee Cesar, 89, Rockford, passed away Mon., May 2, 2011, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born April 23, 1922, in Evansville, WI, the daughter of Lee and Nellie (Devine) Milbrant. Married her loving husband, John Cesar, on Aug. 15, 1942.

Betty worked at Barber-Colman for several years and recently retired from Mailing Equipment Services in 2009 after 19 years. Betty enjoyed gardening, knitting, baking and loved her Lord Jesus with all her heart. She always had time for her family, friends, and was an active member of Elim Baptist Church, sharing the word of God whenever she could. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include sons, Michael (Janet), Kevin and Terry (Denise); nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by husband, John; son, Ronald; and grandson, Andrew.
