Moses Huntoon was the son of John Huntoon and Elizabeth Beede He married Elizabeth Clifford, May 1, 1777 in Kingston, Sullivan County, New Hampshire (Marriage mentioned in Unity, NH Record Book). They had 11 children; Anna, David, Susan, James, Louisa, George W, Mehitable, Greenleaf, Betsy, Samuel and Hiram. He was a Revolutionary War Pensioner Claim #S.13470. While a resident of Kingston, New Hampshire, he enlisted May 1 1775 as a private in Captain Philip Tilton's Company in Colonel Enoch Poor's New Hampshire Regiment and was discharged January 1, 1776. He then enlisted about August 1, 1776 in Captain John Calfe's Company in Colonel Tash's New Hampshire Regiment and was discharged December 1, 1776.
