Andy Wentz, Bountiful, Utah passed away June 4, 2009. He was born January 19, 1927 in Orem, Utah to Ray and Aurelia Wentz. His parents later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where he graduated from East High School. He served our country in the Navy World War II and later married Betty Minardi. Together they raised two wonderful children, John and Paula. Dad was a member of the Pipefitters Local 57/140 for over 40 years.
He is survived by two children, John (Dena) Wentz, Paula (Gilbert) Cantu; 4 grandchildren; Kariann Wentz, and her daughter Alyssa, (great-granddaughter); Cassandra (Cassie) and Colby Cantu; and Lacey Wentz. Preceded in death by his mother, father and wife, Betty Wentz, the love of his life.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and "T" Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main.
