Services for Jean Covin Anderson, 78, Wills Point, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church, Wills Point, with Rev. Ray Reed officiating.
Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Edgewood, under direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home, Wills Point.
Mrs. Anderson died May 20, 2007, in Dallas.
She was born September 21, 1928, in Edgewood to William Basil and Dora Caroline Foster Covin. She grew up in Edgewood, where she graduated from Edgewood High School. She was employed as a beautician until retirement. She resided in Edgewood prior to moving to Wills Point 48 years ago. She was a member of Russell Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Gifford Covin, Douglas Covin and Bernard D. Covin.
Survivors include son, Kyle Anderson, Wills Point; daughter, Suzanne Anderson Hetmer, Wills Point; brother and sisters-in-law, Jesse Paul and Peggy Covin, Fort Worth, and Jewel Smithwick; grandchildren, Alex Anderson, Sarah Hetmer and Cami Hetmer; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers included Phil Evans, George S. Wilcoxson, James Caldwell, Charlie Ellis, David Laney and Larry Armstrong.
Honorary pallbearers were Herschel Ewalt, Leon Lester, Dewitt Deen, Ted Deen Sr. and Billy Ellis.
