Esther Kristina Bolinder, 74, 425 Garfield, died Sunday at her home from a lingering illness.
She was born March 31, 1902 in Torsby, Varmland, Sweden, the daughter of Lars and Maria Lindbergh Larsson. Mrs. Bolinder spent her childhood in Sweden where she attended schools. In 1920, she immigrated to the United States and was married to Jon A. Bolinder on Aug. 7, 1920 in Idaho Falls.
They farmed in Lincoln, New Sweden and Osgood, and moved into Idaho Falls in 1936 where they had since resided. Mr. Bolinder died in 1967.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
Three sons and a daughter preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, William A. Bolinder and Oscar A. Bolinder, both of Firth, Bert C. Bolinder and Pete E. Bolinder, both of Idaho Falls; daughter, Mrs. Alice C. McKensie of Idaho Falls; 21 grandchildren; 18 great granchildren; three brothers, John Larsson, Lars Larsson, and Hjalmar Larsson; and four sisters, Bojan Larsson, Anna Larsson, Tora Lindkvist, Hulda Erickson, all of Sweden.
