Just before we go to press we have learned of the death of Levi Richardson of American Falls, Idaho. Mr Richardson lived in Fairview for many years, but for the past 10 or more years has lived in American Falls.
We will try and get more details of his death next week.

Levi Richardson, early pioneer of Star Valley passed away at the hospital in Burley, Idaho September 19 and was buried in the Falls View Cemetery in American Falls, Idaho Thursday September 23.
Mr Richardson was born October 16, 1860 in Ogden Utah and in 1870 moved to Plain City. In 1876 he went to Eagle Rock, now Idaho Falls where he worked on the Utah Northern Railroad. He married Polly Erminnie Child in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City April 10 1884 and the couple observed their 59th wedding anniversary this year.
In 1890 Mr and Mrs Richardson moved to Star Valley, where they were pioneers, enduring the hardships of those early times.
Mr Richardson was a faithful Latter-day Saint. He served as 1st Counselor to Bishop Franklin g. Tolman for a number of years. He was later ward clerk, and Supt. of the Sunday School for many years. Up until his death he was active in church duties. He worked with his faithful wife, in sickness and death in most every ward in the valley, bringing comfort and relief to those in distress.
Finally Mrs Richardson's health would no longer stand the gigh altitude and severe winters, so in 1919 they moved to American Falls where they have continued to reside until his death.
He filled a six months mission for the L.D.S. church in Wyoming and American Falls.
He was a prosperous farmer and mail messenger until he retired six years ago.
Besides his wife he is survived by the following children; Uretta Allred, Stockton Calif., Delmar Richardson, Tacoma, Wash. Ebbie Richardson Fairview Wyo., Laurel Richardson, View, Idaho, Mamie Morgan, American Falls, Idaho, Minnie Johnson, American Falls. He also leaves three brothers: Joseph of San Jose, Calif. William and Ezra of Ogden, Utah.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the L.D. S. church with Bishop W. E. Barkdull officiating. The first song was rendered by Mrs Etta Reed. The opening prayer was given by Bernell Wregley, superintendent of schools at Rockford, followed by a song by Mrs Ebb Richardson and Mrs Clarence Hoopes of Fairview, Wyo. J. W. Collings was the first speaker and Clarence Stevenson of Pocatello the second. Mrs Payne of Burley, Idaho sang a beautiful solo. An instrumental number was played by his grandchildren, LaDera, Billie and Theo Morgan and Bernell Johnson. A male quartet composed of Lawrence Bath, Vard Meadows, H. C. Allen and W. E. Barkdull sang a number and Bishop W. E. Barkdull gave the closing remarks. Edward Quinlan offered the closing prayer and Vard Meadows dedicated the grave.
Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased: Billy and Theo Morgan, Bernie Johnson, Lavear and Byron Hoopes and Carl Henderson.
