Faye Lisonbee Goodrich

Faye Goodrich, 68, died Thursday, January 6, 2000, in Springville after a long battle with bone cancer.

Faye was born Clara Faye Lisonbee March 2, 1931, in Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah, the daughter of Hosea Lynn and Mary Leanor Robison Lisonbee.

Faye attended school in Bluebell and graduated from Altamont High School, and then attended college in Logan at Utah State Agricultural College. She married Kenneth Goodrich on February 24, 1951, in Elko, Nevada, and later solemnized the marriage in the Logan LDS Temple.In 1995, when Faye was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, she had been working as manager at Varsity Cleaners in Orem. Faye was active in the LDS Church and held many positions in the Relief Society on the ward and stake level, and also in the MIA program, and as a Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her children, Paul (Shawnna), Le Ann (Kerry Emery), and Everett (Liz) of Orem; Brian (Diane) of Springville, and Craig (Ana) and Mark (Tamra), both of Salt Lake City. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren. Faye was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth on December 22, 1998, her parents and older brother Clyde. She is also survived by brother R.G. of Providence, and two sisters, Virginia of Vernal, and Billie of Bluebell.

A viewing will be held Friday, January 7, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State, Orem, Utah. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 8th at 10 a.m. in the Timpanogos Park 4th Ward Chapel, 935 N. 300 East, Orem, with a viewing prior to the service from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Bluebell City Cemetery.
