Anna Johanna Dehn was born June 29, 1870 at Robby, Denmark, to Mr. and Mrs. Chris Albertson. She was confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Church in Lolland County, where she attended school.
She and Chris Dehn were married October 24, 1890 at Robby, Denmark. The family came to the United States shortly thereafter, settling at Racine, Wisconsin. They soon moved west, making their home in Platte County where they were engaged in farming.
The family then moved to Wolbach in the early 1900's, engaging in farming. Mrs. Dehn moved to Wolbach to make her home following the death of her husband in 1930. She had made Wolbach her home until her age made it difficult to be alone. Since then she had made her home with a daughter and grand-daughters. She was residing at the home of a grand-daughter, Mrs. Walter Renter, 104 West 14th, in Grand Island at the time of her death.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Adolph Krause, Brunswick, Nebr., and Carl C. Dehn, Derby, Colorado; 10 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She had raised Louis Larson from infancy and he preceded her in death.
