His Childhood playmates were Ray Taylor and Dee Dunning and his amusements were horseback riding and foot racing. His favorite teachers were Lucetta Twitchell and Prof. Anderson. His favorite study was history. His home tasks were hauling wood from the Mountains and herding cows. He was baptized 06-05-1889 in Cannonville and confirmed.
He married Georgianna Dobbs, 11/11/1907 in Sandy UT . They were later sealed in the Temple, 09/05/1939. They had 4 children; Virginia, Anna Merrille, Charles Theodore and Goldie Charleen.
He read Pickwick Papers, and American History. He Traveled to California, Pennsylvania, New York, Arizona, Grand Canyon and The Southern Parks of Utah.
