MRS.LAURA E. PALMER
MRS.LAURA E. PALMER, well know former resident of Prineville, died at the home of her daughter, Miss Chloe Palmer of Klamath Falls, Sunday, following an illness of three weeks. The body arrived in this city Wednesday morning. Funeral service was held that afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, from the George M. Meyer chapel, and internment was made in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Palmer leaves a daughter, Miss Chloe Palmer of Klamath Falls, a son, Dr. C Harold Palmer of Portland, a niece, Mrs. T.M. Spencer of Bend, a nephew, J.W. Smuck of Portland, a sister, Mrs. A.C. Crowther of The Dalles.
Born in Rose Hill Iowa, October 21, 1860, Mrs. Palmer came west in 1908, and in Prineville in 1912, where she made her home for several years. She was in the dressmaking business while here. She has also made her home at Roberts and at Redmond.
